Talisheek, LA - Shannon E. Davis, 82, of Talisheek, Louisiana, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 1, 2026. He was a devoted father to Brian E. Davis (Tracy Ostendorf Davis), Caprice Davis (Jimmy Sczuka), Breck Davis (Brandy Evans Davis), and Allison Davis Bolin (Jacob Bolin). He was a proud grandfather to Johnathan Holder, Brandon Davis, Kaitlyn Davis Lapsley, Brett Davis, Carley Davis Morgan, Morgan Davis, Austin Davis, Andrew Davis, Madeline Bolin, and Reagan Bolin, and a cherished great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren. Through his work and service, Shannon made a lasting impact on the community he called home. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Madeline Bothner Davis; his parents, Ellis Davis and Gussie Reeves Davis; and his sister, Betty Davis Venturella.
