Work will be carried out in 2026/27, ensuring the Time Capsule continues to develop as a modern leisure destination while providing high-quality facilities that support health, wellbeing and community life. "Many of the new features have been designed to celebrate Coatbridge's industrial heritage, creating a unique visitor experience while complementing the Time Capsule's role as one of North Lanarkshire's flagship leisure destinations." The upgrades follow on from recent investment that has already seen the waterpark fully restored after significant engineering works, both lifts replaced to enhance accessibility, and the gym refurbished.
