A fire which is thought to be deliberate started at a popular park in Bristol yesterday (Monday, August 10). Fire crews were called to the scene of a grass fire at Oldbury Court Estate around 5pm after a fire broke out. Three fire crews battled the blaze, but a large area of the grounds was left scorched. A spokesperson for Avon Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 5pm on Monday 10 August to a grass fire at Oldbury Court Estate. "Firefighters from Kingswood, Avonmouth and Patchway safely extinguished the blaze with two high pressure hose reels.
