Russell, KY - Ella Mae Hoy, 94, of Russell, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Trinity Station Retirement Community in Flatwoods. She was born September 8, 1931, in Russell, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Edith Sparks. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Willis Hoy; one daughter, Tanji Hoy; two brothers, Charles "Sonny" Sparks and Arnie Sparks; and one daughter-in-law, Lisa Hoy. She found great fulfillment in serving God and her church family with a joyful and humble heart.
