Franklin Furnace, Ohio - Sharon Kaye "Cookie" McMackin, 78, of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at Ashland Community Hospice. Cookie was born September 28, 1947, the daughter of the late Elza and Margaret Delawder of Rock Camp, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, James William McMackin, Jr., and her infant grandson, Dane Patrick McMackin. More than anything, Cookie loved her family, and perhaps no title brought her more joy than "Mamaw Mac." Cookie loved watching "The 'Cats" and enjoyed being among the Bobcat faithful.
