Ashland, KY - Bruce Clay York, 85, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away on August 3, 2026, in the city where he was born and lived much of his life. Bruce was the loving husband of Joanne Hall York of Ashland and a devoted father to his son, Alan York and wife Amy of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, and his daughter, Laura Butler and husband Jammie of Ashland. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Rosamond Griggs York. Whether he was spending time at home, sharing a laugh with family, or taking in the simple pleasures of life, Bruce found joy in the moments that mattered most.
