Sourav Ganguly and wife Dona have approached Kolkata Police after receiving letters containing serious threats to their lives and safety. Kolkata: Former India cricket captain and ex-BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and his wife, Dona Ganguly, have approached the Kolkata Police after allegedly receiving death threats, officials said on Monday. A complaint was filed by Ganguly's personal assistant after two threatening letters, addressed separately to Sourav and Dona Ganguly, were received at the office of the Bengal cricket president. According to the complaint, the letters contained serious threats to the lives and safety of the couple and those working with them. The written complaint was lodged at Thakurpukur Police Station, while the state government's security department has also been informed.
