A waste processing and energy generation plant is under construction in Osh. According to the Osh City Hall, construction of the first floor has been completed, and work on the second is underway. Once fully operational, the plant will be able to process over 800 tons of waste per day, or up to 310,000 tons per year. The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in late 2027. According to the project terms, the plant will become the property of the Osh City Hall after 35 years.
