(Photo Courtesy: Jonathan Ao)Mokokchung, August 11 (MExN): The Mokokchung District Taekwondo Association (MDTA) on August 11has honoured 14 young athletes for their impressive performance at the 36th Kyorugi & 1st Poomsae Nagaland State Taekwondo Championship 2026 -cum- Under-14 Catch Them Young Tournament, held recently in Kohima. The felicitation programme, held at the MDTA Treasurer’s residence, saw the formal distribution of certificates, medals, and cash incentives to the winners by the Association President, Supongwati Jamir. Addressing the gathering, MDTA Executive member Chubameren lauded the team for bringing laurels to the association and the district. The Mokokchung team was managed by T. Alila Imchen and Chubatoshi Aier, with Poshung serving as the head coach.
