Driver killed when pickup strikes tree in western suburbs

The driver of a pickup truck died after striking a tree early Sunday morning in west suburban Lisle, authorities said.
At around 2:51 a.m., officers with the Lisle Police Department responded to the 900 block of Maple Avenue and discovered a Ford F-150 that had left the roadway.
Police said the pickup was traveling westbound on Maple Avenue when it struck multiple mailboxes and collided with a tree.
WATCH HERE WATCH HEREThe driver, a 33-year-old man, was found unresponsive and trapped inside the vehicle.
As of Sunday night, the driver's identity was being withheld while authorities worked to notify his next of kin.
