Baton Rouge, LA - Frederick Russell "Rusty" Landry, age 71, passed away on August 7, 2026. Those who knew Rusty will remember his subtle sense of humor and his gentle, quiet demeanor. Above all else, Rusty loved his family more than life itself. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Delma Landry and Irene Chiasson Landry; his brother, Joseph "Boo" Landry; and his sisters, Geraldine "Gerry" Landry, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Landry Trabeaux, and Janice Landry Bellue. Honorary pallbearer will be Barry Bellue, Sr.Rusty lived quietly, loved deeply, gave selflessly, and asked for little in return.
