Thuamul Rampur: A long-awaited connectivity project for residents of Indravati reservoir area in Kalahandi district has moved a step forward with the completion of a preliminary DGPS survey for a proposed 246-meter high-level bridge at Ghutrukhala Tuesday. The bridge, estimated to be part of a Rs 125 crore project, will connect Talnagi, Ghutrukhala and Maligaon by crossing the Indravati reservoir. The survey was completed with officials from the Works Department inspecting the proposed site and taking measurements using DGPS equipment. The project also includes about 3.6 kilometres of approach roads on both sides of the proposed bridge. With the survey completed, the Works Department is expected to begin the tender process soon, officials said.
