OTTAWA, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Canada's minister in ‌charge of U.S. trade ‌relations, Dominic LeBlanc, will ​meet the United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer later on Tuesday, ‌the Canadian ⁠government said in a statement. Canada's Chief ⁠Trade Negotiator Janice Charette will also ​attend the meeting ​scheduled ​at 1:30 p.m. ‌ET, the statement said. U.S. President Donald Trump has proposed a new set of tariffs ‌on Canada which ​are scheduled ​to ​go into effect ‌from next week ​and ​trade representatives are meeting with U.S. officials ​regularly ‌in an attempt to ​evade them.
