The challenges were raised during a recent visit to Lisnaskea-based Liam Connolly Roadfreight by Fermanagh and South Tyrone MP Pat Cullen and the Road Haulage Association (RHA).
She said: "It was a pleasure to visit Liam Connolly Roadfreight in Lisnaskea and to see first-hand how this family-run business has grown since 1981 to become a major employer in Fermanagh.
"It was really valuable to sit down with Andrew from Liam Connolly and Caitlin from the RHA to hear about the challenges the haulage industry is facing, particularly for businesses operating along the border corridor.
"I'll continue working with Liam Connolly Roadfreight and the wider haulage industry to make sure their concerns are heard and to push for practical solutions that support local businesses, protect jobs, and help this vital sector thrive."
The RHA continues to call for investment in the road network.
