Ukrainian forces struck the Tobolskneftekhim petrochemical plant in Russia's Tyumen Oblast on Aug. 10, the General Staff said.
The attack struck the plant's central gas fractionation unit, according to the General Staff.
The extent of the damage caused by the attack is still being assessed, the General Staff added.
"There will be more Ukrainian precision strikes to demonstrate to Russia and the Russian people that peace is necessary."
The Ukrainian General Staff later confirmed the strike on the Taneco refinery, saying a fire was reported at the facility in Nizhnekamsk.
