Kevin Johnson, 63, of Green Drive, Lowestoft, was sentenced at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Thursday after pleading guilty to three counts of making indecent images and three counts of distributing indecent images. Johnson was also placed on the sex offender register for life and made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for 15 years. He was arrested on June 27 in 2023 at his home by officers from the Suffolk Internet Child Abuse Investigation Team. Detective Sergeant Mark Cotton from the Internet Child Abuse Investigation Team said: "Johnson’s conviction has come as a result of a proactive investigation into child sexual exploitation. The investigation found that one laptop contained 690 Category A images and 730 Category A videos, 582 Category B images and 205 Category B videos, and 647 Category C images and 28 Category C videos.
