DULUTH — A man allegedly forced his way into a residence and raped a woman who had an order for protection against him.
While the officer was investigating the incident, the woman called back to report that he was outside her house.
The victim stopped answering calls, so police responded to the scene and found Carey’s motorcycle outside, with the ladder propped up against the house.
The victim told police Carey followed her down a hallway and grabbed her.
He allegedly ordered her to state that she went to another residence and that Carey was not at her house.
