Ms. Erskine accused Sinn Féin of “recklessly party-political point scoring” and said the DUP had instead asked Economy Minister Caoimhe Archibald to return to the drawing board with the legislation.
Her comments came after Sinn Féin MLA Jemma Dolan accused the DUP of blocking the Bill during a party stall in Enniskillen on Saturday.
She said the business community had raised “serious concerns” about the Employment Rights Bill and claimed Sinn Féin had taken two years to bring the legislation to the Executive.
Speaking in Enniskillen, she said the Good Jobs Bill was intended to benefit workers across Northern Ireland.
She added that Sinn Féin was “clutching at straws” and accused the party of failing to bring forward substantive legislation during its time in the Executive.
