Good CQC rating for Amesbury care firm despite rights and records concerns

Maisy Care at Home Ltd, based at Mills House in Amesbury, was rated Good in all five areas: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led, after an inspection on June 3, published on July 29.

It followed national guidance, including ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ for people with learning disabilities and autistic people.
But the CQC said Maisy Care at Home could not show that people’s rights were always protected when decisions were made about their care.
The CQC said governance and oversight needed improving, but praised the provider for accepting feedback and promising to strengthen its processes.
