Mr. McGovern, of Derrychara Drive, Enniskillen, was known to many through McGovern Estate Agents and his longstanding connection with the Blacklion community. Also paying tribute was Blacklion Golf Club, which reflected on the McGovern family’s contribution to the club over several generations. Fermanagh Camino and Cancer Connect NI also paid tribute, describing Mr. McGovern as a “dear friend and supporter”. Béal Cú O'Raghallaigh GAA said Mr. McGovern was a “well known and much loved person within our Community”. He recalled the support Mr. McGovern had given him when he was starting out in business.
