Police commissioner slams 'totally unacceptable' RAF asylum housing plans

Tim Passmore said he was unhappy with the Home Office’s approach to the proposed use of the former RAF site, which has prompted demonstrations outside the base in recent weeks.

Mr Passmore said he would be meeting Suffolk Chief Constable Rachel Kearton and that the purpose of the meeting was to hear residents’ views.
