Salisbury Racecourse's fixture, originally set for 2.30 pm on Thursday, August 13, will now begin at 8.03 pm instead.
The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) confirmed the change after a request from Salisbury Racecourse.
Trainers and staff will still be able to arrive at the stables in the morning to avoid transporting horses during the hottest part of the day.
The BHA said it has been working with racecourses on potential mitigations in recent days, considering environmental conditions and local weather forecasts.
In this instance, Salisbury Racecourse requested to move the fixture to later in the day due to the forecast lower temperatures and humidity and the potential for a cooler sea breeze.
