School Road in Thurston, near Bury St Edmunds, is closing from today, August 11 until Thursday, August 20. This is for City Fibre to carry out work along the road, with plans also showing that the footpath will be partially closed as well. Thurston Butchers said: "Heads up that School Road ('our road') is due to be closed from Tuesday 11th until Thursday 20th. Though I don't totally know what this will mean day to day, access from either end of the road will be available and we'll keep you updated on our stories with developments. There is a diversion in place, to avoid the closure, which uses Church Road, Norton Road and Sandpit Lane.
