A long-vacant gateway site once earmarked for a restaurant and takeaways is set to become a car rental business. Highland Council planners have granted permission to Enterprise Rent-a-Car's plans to open an additional car rental facility in the city. Despite being located near to the existing Seafield Road site, Enterprise confirmed at the time of its initial application that the new Millburn Road facility is intended to operate in addition to the existing facility rather than serve as a replacement.
