A 5-year-old girl was killed and a man was flown to a hospital in a shooting on the Eastern Shore. Maryland State Police said troopers are investigating a fatal shooting reported around 2:17 a.m. Tuesday at a house on U.S. Route 50 in Linkwood, Dorchester County. State police said the child was found dead, and a 30-year-old man was flown to a hospital. No further information was immediately released, and an investigation continues.
