A popular Ellicott City restaurant will bring its authentic Sichuan cuisine to Baltimore. Pepper House is aiming to open a second location at R. House in the Remington neighborhood in mid-October, the restaurant announced on Wednesday. Shen and Liang plan to offer popular items from the menu in Ellicott City, like dan dan noodles and dumplings, as well as newer dishes that pair with beer from the R. House bar, Shen said. The Sichuan restaurant is known for its authentic menu, including house-made chili oil available for purchase.
