The closures will begin on Friday, August 14, at 9am and will run until 11pm on Saturday, August 15. Dalton Road, from its junction with Portland Walk to its junction with Harrison Street, and Portland Walk from its junction with Crellin Street, will be closed for the entire duration. Dalton Road, from its junction with High Street to its junction with Portland Walk, will be closed from 11.45am Friday until 11pm Saturday. These include Scott Street from its junction with Dalton Road for approximately 40m south westerly, Cavendish Street from its junction with Fell Street for approximately 70m south westerly, and High Street from its junction with Whittaker Street for approximately 80m north easterly. All vehicles, including heavy goods vehicles and armoured security vehicles, will be prohibited from proceeding along the section of Dalton Road between its junction with Cavendish Street and its junction with Buccleuch Street.
