Joan Thomas, 47, entered the store on Walney Road in Barrow with her daughter Nikita Thomas, 30, on the afternoon of March 30 earlier this year. He said Nikita took £17.81 worth of different items from the same store. Joan also conceded two other theft offences after stealing food worth £51.25 from Home Bargains on June 5 and £36.06 worth of food from B&M Bargains in Barrow on June 13. The duo, both of Egerton Court in Barrow, were both represented in court by solicitor Michael Graham. On behalf of Joan, Mr Graham said: “The defendants moved to Barrow from the Lancashire area.
