It was first reported at around 8.30am today covering areas of Beccles, Worlingham, Wrentham and Benacre. A spokesman for UK Power Networks said: "Our staff are checking our equipment throughout the area to pinpoint the issue on our network. "In addition to this, they are continuing to liaise with our control room to find safe and reliable ways to divert power around any problems and get everyone restored. "Food should keep for up to four hours in the fridge, and between 24 to 48 hours in the freezer if you can avoid opening them." Power has now been restored to hundreds of homes, but around 300 are still without it.
