There’s been some confusion about what Sioux Falls outdoor pools are open this week as the season winds down. Although the city announced that the pools would remain open until this Sunday, Aug. 16, after originally planning to close this past Sunday, only one outdoor pool is open during the weekdays. Also open is the McKennan Park wading pool that will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Sunday. Also two outdoor pools are open only this coming weekend. Terrace Park and Frank Olson pools are closed for the season for regular swimming.
