The tragedy happened on the A148 at Hillington, close to the junction for Abbey Road, on Saturday at 3.25pm. The vehicles involved were a white Volkswagen Golf, a grey Volkswagen Golf, a black BMW 3 Series and a grey Nissan Juke. A male passenger in his 20s travelling in the white Volkswagen Golf was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman in her 20s who was driving the vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while another male passenger in his 20s suffered minor injuries. The driver of the grey Volkswagen Golf, a woman in her 20s, and the driver of the black BMW, in his 60s, both had minor injuries.
