A bid for three new self-build houses on Norwich Road in Strumpshaw, a village six miles south east of Norwich, has been submitted to Broadland District Council.
The scheme proposes developing land between Mill Road and Norwich Road.
The plans explain: “The proposed scheme comprises three high-quality self-build family dwellings, designed to reflect the local vernacular of Strumpshaw and integrate sensitively with the established village character.
“The proposed development would also provide a range of benefits to the village, including new public open space and enhanced habitats for a variety of wildlife.
“The development represents a sustainable and well-integrated addition to the village, making a positive contribution to the character, functionality and environmental quality of Strumpshaw.”
