He becomes, by implication, the supreme teacher not just of Hindu society but of India itself. The RSS has a ready answer to this charge: that it is engaged in awakening Hindu society, in building its character. There is nothing inherently wrong in organising Hindu society, provided the aim is genuine fellowship among its members. He writes that the RSS continues to propagate the myth of Hindu unity, chanting at its shakhas the following:Hindavah Sodarah Sarve,Na Hindu Patito Bhavet. The question is not whether the RSS believes in Hindu unity.
