The amber alert is in place from 9am on Thursday until 11.59pm that night and covers towns and villages in west Norfolk.
The warning means adverse health effects are likely to be experienced by those vulnerable to extreme heat, and the wider population may experience sunburn, heat exhaustion and other heat-related illnesses.
"Some delays to road, rail and air travel are possible, with potential for welfare issues for those who experience prolonged delays," the alert added.
An amber heat health alert was put in place on Monday, covering the East of England, from 9am today until 9pm on Friday.
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) warns that "significant impacts are likely across health and social care services".
