Lancashire have appointed Richard Kenyon as their new chief executive after he decided to resign from the same role at Nottinghamshire. He previously spent a decade at Everton FC, holding roles as chief commercial and communications officer, as well as chief executive of Everton in the community - the club's charitable organisation - and was involved in the club's move from Goodison Park to Bramley Moore Dock. "I am confident he will be an excellent fit for the role and the ambitions we have for Lancashire Cricket." Michael Temple, Nottinghamshire's commercial director, will replace Kenyon as interim chief executive at Trent Bridge. Lancashire are currently next to bottom of Division Two of the County Championship following their relegation from the top tier in 2024.
