A Moray 67-year-old who relapsed into drinking after 14 years of abstinence has apologised for verbally abusing police officers.
Ian Broadley was ordered to be of good behaviour for six months during his appearance at Elgin Sheriff Court on Thursday (August 6).
Broadley appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court.
Fiscal depute Fiona Jones told the court that the officers arrived at Broadley’s property at around 11.30pm on November 3 due to concerns for his welfare.
While Broadley was being taken to Elgin Police Station, he continued to verbally abuse the officers, describing them as: “c***s”, “w*****s” and “f*****s”.
