Sankey Way, the A57, has been closed eastbound between Cromwell Avenue and the Pink Eye roundabout at Liverpool Road. Traffic is currently being diverted down Old Liverpool Road with reports of very heavy congestion. The crash happened about 7.10pm and the road is closed heading towards town. Cheshire Police have been contacted for comment.
