GRAND FORKS — Altru Health is ending its home health services programming, effective Sept. 1. ADVERTISEMENTIt had been offered to patients after surgeries, illnesses or chronic care, commonly by nurses. More than 50 patients are expected to be impacted, with Altru recommending other home-based services as a replacement. "But staffing was a challenge and we worked together with our human resource department to look at creative ways to recruit for these positions and just weren't successful," said Heather Strandell, senior director of quality at Altru Health.
