The National Trust for Scotland (NTS) has applied for planning permission to change the use of a central part of a local historic building it owns. NTS operations manager at Brodie Castle and Estate, Pamela Hill, confirmed the apartment has been used as holiday accommodation since 2007. She explained: “Because of its central location within Brodie Castle, it provides us with an opportunity to increase the capacity of the building, and opens up a space we can use more practically and creatively. It retains its traditional features, including antique touches and original flagstone elements from the Brodie family's private quarters.
