The Vallejo Police Department are investigating the city’s ninth fatal traffic collision of the year, which claimed the life of a woman. On Wednesday morning the Vallejo Police Department’s Traffic Division was contacted by the Napa County Sheriff’s Office regarding a Tuesday traffic collision near the intersection of Broadway Street and Mahogany Street. Since the incident occurred within Vallejo city limits, the Napa County Sheriff’s Office referred the case to the Vallejo Police Department for investigation. The female was unable to enter the vehicle and fell while the vehicle was still in motion. The driver stopped the vehicle, assisted the female back inside, and left the area without reporting the incident.”The Vallejo Police Department Traffic Division has taken over the investigation.
