Organised by Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service, the draw will be part of the Penrith Community Fire Station Open Day on Monday, August 31, 2026, with all ticket-sale proceeds going to The Fire Fighters Charity. Prizes, donated by businesses across the region, include a two-night glamping stay at The Quiet Site, a family day pass to Lowther Castle, and a ghyll scrambling session for four with Ullswater Outdoor Adventures. Organisers expect to at least match last year’s prize fund, which topped £3,500 across more than 100 prizes. This year’s open day will run from 11am to 3pm, with a special quieter hour from 10am to 11am for individuals with special educational needs and their families. The draw and open day are being supported by the NHS North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust and The Fire Fighters Charity.
