Cheshire Police has confirmed that officers attended Sankey Way following reports of an ‘altercation’ after a road traffic collision. The driver of the van, a 41-year-old man from Penketh, has since been charged in connection with the incident. A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At 6.48pm on Monday, August 10, police were called to reports of an altercation on Sankey Way, Warrington. “Officers attended and found that there had been a collision between a white Vauxhall Vivaro van and a grey Porsche. “The driver of the van, a 41-year-old man from Warrington, was arrested at the scene.
