The C4006 Moresby Road in Whitehaven will be shut from August 10 to August 14 while Cumberland Council carries out urgent drainage investigation, repairs and carriageway patching works. The closure will be in place from Red Lonning to the Monkwray roundabout, covering around 620 metres in a north-easterly direction. A signed diversion will be in place using sections of the C4006, U4008, and Red Lonning. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
