Located at Cheshire Museum of Policing, next to Warrington Police Station near the town centre, the display was revealed by chief constable Mark Roberts. It recognises the courage of Cheshire Police officers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Dave Howard, secretary of Cheshire Police Federation, said: "The federation acknowledges the bravery of our officers, who are out there 24/7 to protect the public. "The federation will work with the museum to ensure each year that the wall is updated." The ceremony concluded with a blessing for Cheshire officers by force chaplain Reverend Tony Hunt.
