Objections roll in for projected 63 accessible Cumnock homes
['Stuart Reid']

East Ayrshire Council is planning to create the new houses on land between Cairn Road and Glaisnock Street.
The development would also incorporate a communal garden, with two access roads coming from Cairn Road.
But locals who live nearby have raised issues surrounding potential road safety, the density of the development and a potential loss of privacy to homes in the surrounding areas.
Ms Audrey Stillie added: "Visibility will be reduced when leaving the junction at Cairn Court as the sightline of approaching traffic is affected.
Two access points would be created for the development, both on Cairn Road, with one close to the Cairn Court junction.
