The offence took place on Pategill Road in Penrith at around 9.20pm and involved Fry repeatedly kicking a vehicle over a five-minute period while intoxicated. "They have identified the defendant as having kicked a vehicle over a period of five minutes leaving multiple dents down the side." Fry, of Carleton Road, Penrith, was arrested at the scene and later admitted criminal damage. The court heard that Fry had 46 convictions for 81 offences, 11 of which were related to property damage. Mr Holden said: "This was an unpleasant incident in which the victim’s car was the subject of quite considerable damage."
