CM Punk is heading to NXT this weekend, with the Undisputed WWE Champion confirming he will appear at Saturday night’s untelevised live event in Petersburg, Virginia. The NXT live event will take place on Saturday, August 15 at the Virginia State University Multi-Purpose Center, with the action scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. local time. Punk’s upcoming NXT appearance comes just days after he competed at WWE’s live event at EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia on Thursday. During that appearance, Punk addressed Cody Rhodes and offered him another opportunity at the Undisputed WWE Championship. Punk captured the Undisputed WWE Championship from Sami Zayn on the July 6 episode of Raw in Chicago.
