Yvonne Fairweather, of Hillside Avenue in Hereford, was found guilty in her absence at Redditch Magistrates Court on August 3 of driving without due care and attention. At the time, she was driving a BMW on the A49 in Hereford on December 27 last year. Fairweather, 43, was ordered to pay a fine of £660, costs of £130, and a victim surcharge of £264, totalling £1,054. A second charge of driving without insurance while on Greyfriars Bridge was also proved in her absence. No separate penalty was issued for that offence, but the conviction was formally recorded.
