Fraser has told Carlton hierarchy he's keen to become the permanent head coach after his stunning success as interim boss. Fraser, 44, initially said he wasn't interested in being the fulltime coach from next season. Fraser, who played 200 games with Collingwood and 18 at Gold Coast, began his coaching career as coach of the Suns' state league side. He then coached Carlton and Collingwood at VFL level before returning to the Blues as an assistant to Voss this season. Since those comments, Fraser has overseen a 76-point thrashing of reigning premiers Brisbane and a 44-point victory over the Saints.
