He was later identified and arrested on suspicion of a sexual harassment offence under section 4B of the Public Order Act 1986. He is due to appear at Newport Magistrates’ Court later this month, on Monday, August 24. A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "A man was arrested on suspicion of a sexual harassment offence following inappropriate behaviour towards a female officer in Newport city centre last week. "A 57-year-old man was identified and arrested on suspicion of a sexual harassment offence under section 4B of the Public Order Act 1986. Section 4B of the Public Order Act 1986 carries a maximum sentence of two years in prison and/or an unlimited fine.
